This aquarium is dedicated to Loretta Anné, affectionately known as "The Fish Whisperer". For many years Loretta was involved in the release of fish into our TGO lakes and ponds. Loretta has been serving The Nature Center for over 20 years in many different capacities. She has an unlimited and valuable knowledge of the history of The Nature Center.
The pond aquarium can be found in the meeting room. It features plants, fish and invertebrates that are found in our lakes/ponds. We have a smaller aquarium for invasive species of fish and snails. We have 7 species of fish native to our region in the pond aquarium including a species of special concern the Swamp darter which is disappearing due to loss of habitat.

The porch was donated by Judy Purcell. In more recent years the porch was closed in and air conditioning was added through donations. You may reserve this room by contacting Loretta Anné ejllanne450@gmail.com
