The Nature Center at The Great Outdoors, Inc. is a Section 501(c) (3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the awareness, appreciation, and conservation of nature's plants, animals, birds, fish, and reptiles. This is accomplished through volunteers and donations.


You can donate to The Nature Center by visiting the center itself (there is a donation box) or by sending a check to our mailing address - 400 Nature Center Trail, Titusville, FL 32780. As a Section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your donation may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. (Please consult with your tax advisor or IRS to determine deductibility).


The Nature Center sits in a museum-like natural setting. It houses a wide variety of wildlife, numerous displays and information, a vast library collection on local and statewide animals, trees, and vegetation plus a large children's section. Our programs, events and benefits throughout the year include:
